Hello Eclipse Audio, I’ve noticed strange artifacts in the sound of my speakers, and after six months of troubleshooting, I’ve identified the main problem. When I use the car, I get artifacts in the sound. If I do the same manually in the voicing EQ, no artifacts appear. I suspect that the calculation algorithm is uncontrollably boosting certain EQ levels to linearize the frequency response. When I manually smooth the EQ, I rarely boost frequencies; I only cut them, sometimes by a minimal +2 dB. It would be great if you could take a look at this and perhaps add a few options. (Maximum peaking EQ in dB – this tells the algorithm that you can only boost by a maximum of xy dB.) Thanks, Regards, Eddi
