    Hi Eddi,

    Firstly, I should say we don’t advocate any particular EQ approach. We provide the tools to enable you to experiment with whatever approach you like and works for you. That said….

    We do suggest using the average of multiple measurements from a coverage area, and not a measurement from a single location. (In the car this might mean, for example, multiple measurements within ~30cm of the nominal head position for the front seats.) We also suggest fairly broad smoothing – e.g. 1/3rd or 1/6th octave – on the Auto Mag to avoid narrow, high-q boosts.

    Separate boost and cut parameters for the Auto Mag are under consideration and on the TODO list, but I can’t say when we might get to this.
