Is it possible to import the original manufacturer’s driver SPL and impedance curves into Eclipse, given that these are typically provided in PDF, JPEG, or PNG formats?
Curves from images? No. Impedance can be loaded into the Import tab, but it must be TXT file with 2 columns – Frequency and Impedance.
Alternatively, is there any converter software available to transform these curves into a format compatible with FIR design tools?
I’ve heard there are some tools around. Best try a Google search.
Note that driver manufacturer’s SPL measurements, unless specifically described, are typically made in an infinite baffle wall. The driver response will not be the same as in your cabinet.
