May I also ask what IIR filters in the designer use for?, if the FIR filters can basically do anything. Are the IIR filters deal with the minimum phase responses and the FIR filters deal with the non-minimum phase responses? If so, how am I supposed to differentiate them from mixed responses e.g. room responses?
