I tried designing an LR8 linear-phase FIR filter. I’ve attached the FDS file I created, along with the exported miniDSP files. I exported it from Channels/Export/binary file(32bit, float)

When I import these files into the Flex miniDSP (as shown in the attached screenshot), the response appears completely flat — the expected filter curve doesn’t show up. Usually I got driver curve(example) like attached when I import such bin file. Could you please check what might be wrong?

Firstly, your FDS file doesn’t have any filtering set on any tabs. The woofer and tweeter measurements are loaded on the Import tab, but the other tabs don’t have anything set.

Secondly, your two exported BIN files are each 400 sample length filters with an impulse in the middle. Exactly as would be exported from your FDS file. This also matches your screenshot file “Screenshot (7).png” where the visible coefficients are essentially 0.0. If you scroll down to coefficient b199 or b200, you will see one coefficient approximately 1.0.

      Try:
      – time aligning the measurements to have similar phase at your intended crossover frequency. This may including flipping the polarity of one of the measurements. The time alignment and polarity can be adjusted on the Import tab or on the Gain/Polarity/Delay tab. Polarity can also be changed in the filter on the Mag Adjust tab.
      – setting LR 8th order linear-phase filters on the Mag Adjust tab.
