FIR Designer M (uniquely) has the ability to optimise for crossovers simultaneously, has separate system response and channel response targets, can show the wavelet response of the complete system and can push settings to Lake XP (FIR) modules. The supplementary responses option can also show full system behaviour with off-axis measurements.

Multi-channel loudspeaker presets are possible with FIR Designer – with one FIR Designer project per driver channel – but, depending on the crossover approach, may involve iterative design and verify steps to align crossovers and time-align channels.
