Invalid IR when grab measurement through API without compensate delay in Smaart

Hi,
I was tring to control Smaart generator and grab measurement in FIRDesigner through API, and to keep the workflow effcient, I don’t want to go back to Smaart to find and compensate for the SUT delay, instead I wanted to remove SUT delay in the Import tab by “Find Peak” button. However, I found if I don’t go back to Smaart and compensate the delay, when I take the grabed measurement to Import tab in FIRD, there will be no effective IR peak, the peak just blurred out, and as a result I can’t find the right peak and see any meaningful phase trace.
what’s the possible reason for this? and is there any way to optimise this?
