A recent question from a licensee..

The LPIF can used to load to DSP amp and processor control programs. Thats ok.
I search a program for Windows to use a PC for controling (like for Linux Brute FIR).
      Can you help?

The Loudspeaker Processing Interchange Format (LPIF) is a specification we created for encapsulating gain, delay, polarity, IIR and FIR processing for single channel and multi-way loudspeakers. FIR Designer and FIR Designer M support LPIF export. Some processors vendors, such as DFM, already support LPIF for FIR filtering import.

We’re not aware of any Windows PC programs yet that support full processing parameter import using LPIF. (Programs like BrutFIR can import WAV and possible CSV or TXT file FIR filters.)

We are considering developing realtime processing and/or player software but we can’t give any timeframes.

      Best,
      EA Support
