Hello
I’m designing FIR Filters for active Speakers and I’m using linear phase crossovers, the result looks pretty good (magnitude and phase). But when you look at the Step-response there is not the desired behavior. The response start to the negative range and then the step goes up to the positive range. Why doesn’t it start at zero and the steps directly to the positive as a proper step-response looks like normally?
