Is there a possibility to show the step response of the hole speaker system? Whit my know how for filters there should be a proper step response when phase and magnitude are linear. Maybe I was focussing to much for the single drivers…

PS: Do you have a proper workflow how to achieve a 2- or 3-way System with a linear phase from about 100 Hz to 15 kHz? I tried to use several possibilities whit the filters (HP and LP, lin, min. max.phase) and I always had the behavior like I described further above or I can’t get a linear phase for the hole system. in the FIR Filter generating programs you can adjust the phase over all at the end. I have there results whit a proper step response an a linear phase.

I’m not sure if you had understood me correct. in the red circle is what I wouldn’t expect. That the ramp goes to zero when a HP filter is involved that’s clear for me.

This is what I’would expect, that the steps starts aprox. at level 0.

all this three filter parts are showing the same behavior, starting a ramp down in approx. the same level, as the goes high.
