23 August 2024 at 7:16 am #896No, LIR is not yet in any of our products and we are still trying to get information from Linea Research.

19 August 2024 at 10:28 pm #889Thank you for describing the problem. A few versions back, we had a “Preferences” option to allow input filters for 1 channel systems, but we took this out without realising that it would cause problems for XP1 modules. We will definitely add this Preference option back in a future update.

30 July 2024 at 6:55 am #883We removed the help files over a year ago. We found it much more effective to provide help via the tutorials/videos section of the website and this forum.

26 July 2024 at 5:12 pm #879No, but it can be implemented. What’s the use case? (I’m not aware of any processor that converts frequency|mag|phase representation into a FIR filter, instead of loading coefficients directly.)

25 July 2024 at 10:24 pm #874We’ve just released version 4.3.6 which retains the GPD delay but still calculates FIR Alignment delay.
Just restart FIR Designer M and it will give you a link to the new version.

22 July 2024 at 5:17 am #867Hello again,
The FIR filter will work, however as the IIR biquads are not exactly in the format that audioweaver will like it will be quite impractical to work with this export. In the beginning of this email thread you said that you could add the required export format to audioweaver quite easily. Is there any chance you can add IIR export to audioweaver without any further modifications? It’s on the worklist and will be in the next FIR Designer release, but I can’t give an exact timeframe. Maybe a few weeks.

19 July 2024 at 5:50 am #864Hi, sounds great. Can you send me example files for IIR and FIR exports and I can check the compatibility with audioweaver. exports can for instance be a very simple notch filter with high q at eg 1kHz at 192kHz. or something that is esy to check the response with.
IIR filter coefficients. (1 kHz parametric) As I mentioned, you will have to reformat this into the Audio Weaver IIR format.
IIR Mode: Generic Sample Rate: 192000 Hz BAND_PASS, 1000.000 Hz, BW 0.100 (Q 14.424), -18.000 dB b0:0.9972142660601733 b1:-1.9925586940177016 b2:0.9964118404059917 a0:1.0000000000000000 a1:-1.9925586940177016 a2:0.9936261064661650FIR filter coefficients. (8 kHz parametric @ 192 kHz)

19 July 2024 at 5:44 am #863Hello! I am interested in what is the difference between calculating the IIR filter method 1 and method 2?
The calculation method is the same. The differences are just text formatting. The OP asked about how to get coefficients through to Audio Weaver and the examples above are two of the IIR filter export formats we have in our products.
